To Know God and Equip Servants

Before Jesus said to Peter, “Feed My sheep,” He asked, “Do you love Me?” Until this question is settled we are not ready for true service. Our great desire at CCBCU is to see each student totally committed and abandoned to Jesus Christ, loving Him with all their heart.

To know Him is to love Him and we know Him through His Word. “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” We purpose to give you the whole counsel of God, from Genesis to Revelation, which is sufficient to equip you.

“Then he said to them all, ‘If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me’.” Our Lord came not to be served, but to serve and give His life a ransom for us all. We pray you will receive “the manifold grace of God” in order to develop the humble heart of a servant and be strengthened “to bear much fruit, adorning the doctrine of God our Savior” in every respect.

This purpose and vision will be accomplished as Zechariah prophesied, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.”

We expect you will be conformed more into the image of Jesus Christ and endowed for ministry by the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Calvary Chapel Bible College Uganda (CCBCU) was established alongside Calvary Chapel Kampala in 2002.  It was an affiliate campus of Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California, with a vision to equip Christians, pastors and leaders for personal growth and vocational ministry.

CCBCU shares facilities with Calvary Chapel Kampala (CCK). CCK lies in heart of Kampala’s City Center and occupies the top two floors of Gadith House.

Two rooms are dedicated as classrooms and a student library/study area.
